CA Notify is an Android-based COVID-19 exposure notification app developed by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the California Department of Technology. Its main objective is to help slow the spread of COVID-19, supporting both local contact tracing efforts and the state's COVID-19 prevention program. The app uses the Google Apple Exposure Notification API to exchange anonymous keys with other devices, recording the signal strength, duration, and date of the exposure. These keys are only kept on the user's device and are deleted after 14 days.
